Entry Requirements
- Passport and Visa are required. You cannot enter without a visa in advance for BUSINESS PURPOSES.
- Passport for entry must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the arrival date.
- Qatar has temporarily suspended entry to travelers who have been to China, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria, and Thailand.
Photo Requirements
- Your head must face the camera directly with full face in view.
- Neutral facial expression or natural smile, with both eyes open.
- Taken in clothing normally worn on a daily basis.
- Taken in the last 6 months.
- Plain white or off-white background.
- 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm).
- Head between 1–1 3/8 inches (25–35 mm) from chin to top of head.
- Printed on matte or glossy photo quality paper, in color.
- No glasses.
- No hat or head covering (exceptions for documented religious or medical reasons).
- Full face visible; no shadows on face.
- No headphones or wireless hands-free devices.
If Traveling for Business

Visa details:
- Valid for 3 months from date of issuance (must enter before expiry).
- Stay up to 1 month from date of entry.
- Visa cannot be extended.
- Approx. $160.00 Money Order for 1-year multiple entry (fees vary).
- Single entry starts at $55.00.
If traveling for government reasons, an invitation will be required – call office for details.
If Traveling for Tourism
Visa can be obtained upon arrival in Qatar for a single entry and up to a 30-day stay for tourism only. It is illegal to enter Qatar as a tourist if you are a business traveler.
Tourist Visa upon arrival (as of May 2022) – Subject to change.
- Nationals of 34 countries including USA nationals can obtain a tourist visa, upon arrival for 30 days.
- Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of entry. A valid credit card is required to pay the fee (~$28).
