Entry Requirements

  • Non-Immigrant Visa Application (FA Form 2) — complete, sign, and notarize. Use blue/black pen; write “N/A” if not applicable.
  • Bank statement (most recent copy) is mandatory for all visas.
  • Proof of travel: computer-generated itinerary or airline e-confirmation (with record locator).

Photo Requirements

  • Your head must face the camera directly with full face in view.
  • Neutral facial expression or natural smile, with both eyes open.
  • Taken in clothing normally worn on a daily basis.
  • Taken in the last 6 months.
  • Plain white or off-white background.
  • 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm).
  • Head between 1–1 3/8 inches (25–35 mm) from chin to top of head.
  • Printed on matte or glossy photo quality paper, in color.
  • No glasses.
  • No hat or head covering (exceptions for documented religious or medical reasons).
  • Full face visible; no shadows on face.
  • No headphones or wireless hands-free devices.

If Traveling for Business

  • No visa required for stays up to 30 days. For stays over 30 days, a visa is required—please confirm details with your Philippine host.
  • Valid U.S. passport (min. 6 months from last day of stay) and color copy of the data page.
  • At least two blank visa pages (side-by-side). “Amendment” pages are not valid for visas.
  • Business letter on company letterhead, signed by someone other than the traveler, indicating passport info and who pays expenses. See: Business Letter Sample.
  • If applying for multiple-entry: provide copies of prior Philippine visas (processing can take longer).

If Traveling for Tourism

  • No tourist visa for visits under 30 days with valid return/onward ticket and passport valid 6+ months beyond stay.

  • Vaccinations are not required unless traveling from/through an infected area.

Accompanying Minors

  • Application signed by both parents/guardians.
  • Notarized consent letter signed by both parents/guardians.
  • Original and copy of the minor's birth certificate.

Non-U.S. Citizens

  • Include a copy of your U.S. Green Card (permanent residents) or your U.S. visa (visa holders).

Entry Overview

  • Visa-free (up to 30 days) for most U.S. travelers for tourism/business under EO 408. Longer stays require a visa.
  • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months at time of arrival.
  • Travelers should have a return or onward ticket and may be asked for proof of sufficient funds.
