Entry Requirements
- Passport and Visa are required.
- Visitors are required to hold proof of hotel accommodation and all documents required for their next destination.
- Warning:
- All visitors arriving in Cote d’Ivoire are subject to screening and health checks. Passengers may be quarantined for further assessment.
- Valid Signed Passport
- Applicant must submit their current signed passport. Applicant must also include a color copy of the information page of the passport.
- Note: In order to obtain visas, passport must have at least two blank visa pages side by side. Pages in the passport marked “Amendment” pages are not valid for visas.
JIDS recommends your passport is valid for at least six months past the last day of stay from international destination.

- Must submit a computer-generated itinerary from a travel agency or online travel site. E-confirmation from an airline or travel company showing departure from the U.S. and arrival/departure to and from your visa destination. Acceptable with a valid record locator.

- The application form must have original signature.
- (NOTE: Make sure that you complete the correct visa application form based on the duration of stay).

Photo Requirements
- Your head must face the camera directly with full face in view.
- Neutral facial expression or natural smile, with both eyes open.
- Taken in clothing normally worn on a daily basis.
- Taken in the last 6 months.
- Plain white or off-white background.
- 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm).
- Head between 1–1 3/8 inches (25–35 mm) from chin to top of head.
- Printed on matte or glossy photo quality paper, in color.
- No glasses.
- No hat or head covering (exceptions for documented religious or medical reasons).
- Full face visible; no shadows on face.
- No headphones or wireless hands-free devices.
If Traveling for Business
- Applicant must submit a Business letter of support from a U.S. based company.
- This letter must be on your company letterhead.
- This letter must be sign by someone other than the applicant.

Health Requirements
- Yellow Fever Certificate is required with the applicaiton
- Visit the Center for Disease Control: CDC.GOV for complete health requirements.

Accompanying Minors
- Application signed by both parents/guardians.
- Notarized consent letter signed by both parents/guardians.

- Include a copy of your U.S. Green Card (permanent residents) or your U.S. visa (visa holders).
