Entry Requirements
Fully vaccinated travelers must present certified proof of vaccination in a printed form. Vaccination certificates are valid nine months. All unvaccinated travelers must hold a negative test result. Accepted tests are PCR tests (issued within 72 hours of departure). The test must be issued in Arabic, English or French. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from this requirement. All travelers must complete a Health Form.
- Passport and Visa are required.
- HEALTH FORM must be done in advance of travel.
- Applicant must submit their current signed passport.
- Loose leaf visas are available, additional fee applies and passport copy only is required.
- Applicant must also include a color copy of the information page of the passport.
Note: In order to obtain visas, passport must have at least two blank visa pages side by side. Pages in the passport marked “Amendment” pages are not valid for visas. Vietnam and JIDS recommend your passport be valid for at least six months past the last day of stay from international destination.

- Passports and other documents accepted for entry must be valid for a minimum of 30 days beyond the period of intended stay into Vietnam; however the consulate asks for 6 months validity to meet airline requirements.
- When holding a visa for entry into Vietnam, passports must be valid at least 1 month after the expiry date of the visa.

- APPLICATION TWO (2) VISA APPLICATION — Must be done online, original signature on both
- Application form MUST be filled out on screen, printed and then dated and hand signed. Handwritten forms are not accepted. Photos should be glued on the box reserved for photo at the upper right side of the application form. There is only ONE application form but you have to submit two copies with a glued photo on each copy.
- Applications with application form missing information will not be processed. Please fill out all the boxes (For example, if your parents are deceased, give their full names. Do not leave the section blank and do not write “Deceased”.)

Photo Requirements
- Your head must face the camera directly with full face in view.
- Neutral facial expression or natural smile, with both eyes open.
- Taken in clothing normally worn on a daily basis.
- Taken in the last 6 months.
- Plain white or off-white background.
- 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm).
- Head between 1–1 3/8 inches (25–35 mm) from chin to top of head.
- Printed on matte or glossy photo quality paper, in color.
- No glasses.
- No hat or head covering (exceptions for documented religious or medical reasons).
- Full face visible; no shadows on face.
- No headphones or wireless hands-free devices.
If Traveling for Business
- Algerian partner or company local branch invitation letter from Algerian host
- For business letter please note the following:
- Applicant must submit a Business letter of support from a U.S. based company.
- This letter must be on your company letterhead.
- This letter must be signed by someone other than the applicant.

If Traveling for Tourism
- Hotel reservation, notarized invitation letter or travel agency invitation letter. Algerian host invitation letter can be notarized at the city hall in Algeria or at a notary public office if made by an Algerian living in the US. Algerian host must provide a copy of his Algerian ID, passport or consular card;
- A copy of round trip flight ticket;
- Statement of financial resources or proof of income (pay stub, bank statement…);
- Passport hard copy and a copy of the first page. The passport should be valid for at least six months.
REQUIREMENTS AS OF September 2022: Entry Measures for US CITIZENS
U.S. Passport Holders are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes and will be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period not exceeding 30 days on each visit, or 15-day stays if arriving by land-crossing.

Entry Measures for Thai and Foreign Nationals (From 1 July 2022)
BUSINESS VISA for US CITIZENS: EVISA NOW AVAILABLE:
Application for visa must be submitted online with no more than 180 days in advance to your trip and at least 14 days before. Applications with more than 90 days in advance to your trip will not be accepted.

2. Photograph *taken within the last six months. If the photograph does not reflect your current appearance you may be refused to enter the Kingdom of Thailand

4. A copy of ID card or passport of the signer (authorized person who signed the employment letter)
5. Letter confirming employment details from an employer in foreign country signed by authorized person stating that the company will dispatch the employee to Thailand on which purpose

7. Business license of the inviting company in Thailand with the company’s stamp and authorized person’s signature
8. Applicant is required to upload his/her passport pages which contain all travel records for the past 12 months (1 year) since the last international trip.
9. Applicant must apply for e-Visa via specific Embassy/Consulate conforming with his/her consular jurisdiction and residency. Applicant is required to upload document that can verify his/her current residency.
10. Please upload your picture holding the photo and information page of the passport.
And it takes 15 days to process according to the consulate. JIDS recommends having more than 20 days in advance, since the timing of EVISA is not guaranteed.
Certificate of Entry (COE) is in addition to a TRADITIONAL VISA FOR BUSINESS TRAVELERS
Tourism for US CITIZENS as of November 1, 2021 — US CITIZENS CAN STAY UP TO 30 days Visa Exempt
Business Travelers should have the following:

- COE Certificate of Entry required for all travelers / Quarantine rules in effect and MEDICAL COVID
- No Tourist Visa for visit less than 30 days, visa is required for longer visit.
