Entry Requirements
- Passport and visa are required.
- Original, signed passport valid ≥ 6 months with ≥ 2 successive blank visa pages. Include a color copy of the passport information page.
- Note: Amendment pages are not valid for visas.
- Complete the online Arrival Registration prior to departure to enable use of the Tawakkalna app.
- Download the Tatamman and Tawakkalna apps, report home location within 8 hours of arrival, and complete daily health assessments in Tatamman

Tourist & Business E-Visa
- Available to visitors from 49 eligible countries via an online portal.
- One-year multiple-entry; stays up to 90 days; covers tourism and Umrah (excluding Hajj season).

- Where to apply depends on where the invitation is sent. If using JIDS, have the host choose New York Consulate on the invitation and use the NY application.

Processing Time
An E visa typically takes 5-7 business days to process, unless you opt for a rushed service. If you apply for a visa at the consulate, the processing time is generally up to 2-3 weeks, unless you pay for rush service at the outsourced office.
Photo Requirements
- Your head must face the camera directly with full face in view.
- Neutral facial expression or natural smile, with both eyes open.
- Taken in clothing normally worn on a daily basis.
- Taken in the last 6 months.
- Plain white or off-white background.
- 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm).
- Head between 1–1 3/8 inches (25–35 mm) from chin to top of head.
- Printed on matte or glossy photo quality paper, in color.
- No glasses.
- No hat or head covering (exceptions for documented religious or medical reasons).
- Full face visible; no shadows on face.
- No headphones or wireless hands-free devices.
Health Requirements
- Vaccinations are not required unless traveling from or through an infected area.
- See CDC.gov for full health guidance (including COVID-19).
- Yellow Fever: Required under IHR (2005) for travelers ≥ 9 months old arriving from countries with yellow fever transmission; not required for < 12 hours airport transit. Certificate valid for life.
- Travelers should carry an International Certificate of Vaccination.

- U.S. visa holders: include a copy of your U.S. visa.
- Mandatory insurance for non-U.S. visitors to KSA (cost varies by nationality); paid to the outsource agency when JIDS submits on your behalf.
