IMPORTANT NOTICE!
Please read and take into consideration the following information about eligibility of applying for e-visa and COVID-19 related travel requirements to enter the territory of Azerbaijan. Only those foreigners who fall into one of the following categories are eligible to apply for an e-visa. 1. Citizens or stateless permanent residents of:
- United States of America
- United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
- Hungary
- Israel
- United Arab Emirates
- Bahrain
- Qatar
2. Foreigners traveling to Azerbaijan within 01.05.2021-05.07.2021 for UEFA Euro 2020 purpose of visit. In case you are traveling for UEFA Euro 2020 purpose of visit, you have to present one of the following documents along with the e-visa at the border crossing points of Azerbaijan:
- The official invitation letter of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA).
- The document proving accreditation in accordance with the relevant rules of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
- A ticket or a document that confirms obtaining a ticket for UEFA Euro 2020. Please be informed that only ticket holders who are citizens or stateless permanent residents of Turkey, Switzerland, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and quarter-finalist countries will be able to obtain a visa. If you fail to present one of the supporting documents, your e-visa will be considered invalid and you will not be allowed to enter Azerbaijan.
Please note that at the border control in Azerbaijan you will have to present a COVID-19 passport (a document confirming complete vaccination against COVID-19 or immunity gained by recovering from COVID-19) and a document confirming the negative result of the PCR test for COVID-19 issued within 72 hours before the flight. Foreigners traveling for UEFA Euro 2020 purpose of visit are required to present only a document confirming the negative result of the PCR test for COVID-19 issued within 72 hours before the flight.

- Visitors must register at the State Migration Service if they stay more than 10 days.
Valid Signed Passport Applicant must submit their current signed passport. Applicant must also include a color copy of the information page of the passport. Note: In order to obtain visas, passport must have at least two blank visa pages side by side. Pages in the passport marked “Amendment” pages are not valid for visas. JIDS recommends your passport is valid for at least six months past the last day of stay from international destination. Photo Requirements
- Your head must face the camera directly with full face in view.
- Neutral facial expression or natural smile, with both eyes open.
- Taken in clothing normally worn on a daily basis.
- Taken in the last 6 months.
- Plain white or off-white background.
- 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm).
- Head between 1–1 3/8 inches (25–35 mm) from chin to top of head.
- Printed on matte or glossy photo quality paper, in color.
- No glasses.
- No hat or head covering (exceptions for documented religious or medical reasons).
- Full face visible; no shadows on face.
- No headphones or wireless hands-free devices.
If Traveling for Tourism
- Tourist voucher from hotel in Azerbaijan that lists the confirmation number.
